Matrix BioWallet = your wallet is your identity.
Some existing solutions face practical challenges in Hong Kong. For example, WorldCoin relies on a large iris-scanning “Orb” device to collect biometrics. While conceptually emphasizing “uniqueness,” the following issues arise in practice:
High costs may hinder widespread adoption;
The centralized data collection model easily triggers discussions about privacy and regulation;
The anti-counterfeiting capabilities against AI-generated simulation attacks still need further improvement.
In contrast, Matrix’s finger vein hardware wallet solution demonstrates unique advantages. It integrates authentication directly into the wallet itself, achieving “identity as wallet.” Unlike iris or facial recognition, finger veins are located subcutaneously, making them extremely difficult to spoof with cameras or AI.
Based on test data, its recognition accuracy exceeds 99%, with a false positive rate of less than one in 100,000. Furthermore, all data is processed only locally in a secure chip and never uploaded or stored in the cloud, truly achieving “verifiable, traceless” privacy protection. — CEO Owen TAO
