I am writing to provide an important update regarding the ERC-20 MAN tokens.
Since the launch of our mainnet in 2019, Matrix Foundation has provided manual swap support for ERC-20 tokens to mainnet native coins. In January 2023, we ceased providing manual swap services to prevent manipulative trading and protect the interests of our community.
After much effort, we have partnered with Jehol Capital Foundation, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency foundation with two years of experience in the industry, to take over the operations and investment in the Ethereum-related ecosystem. Jehol has extensive operational and investment expertise in the Ethereum ecosystem, and they will be taking over the ERC-20 MAN tokens to expand their operations and investments in the Ethereum ecosystem.
Jehol will be taking over the operations and investments of Matrix’s Ethereum-related ecosystem and products, including the ETH-HECO cross-chain bridge, some of the ecosystem projects and collaborations on HECO, such as SuperNova and MDX, as well as some AI application demo examples on Ethereum, including the graphic image recognition program paid with ERC-20 MAN tokens (limited to smart contracts and services on the Ethereum blockchain only).
This partnership will benefit the ERC-20 MAN token holders as Jehol will continue to develop the ecosystem and applications around the token. Jehol plans to integrate with its existing ecosystem and foster more connections and interactions, potentially bringing additional benefits to ERC-20 token holders.
For holders of Matrix mainnet native coins, this partnership will have no impact and will not affect your assets or interests in any way. You shall be able to see Matrix is committed to being a responsible and supportive organization that always finds ways to help the community.
Moving forward and as always, Matrix Foundation will focus on advancing the development of the mainnet technology and ecosystem with innovation and vision.
We believe this solution best addresses community concerns, and we look forward to a bright future together.
CEO, Matrix Foundation
The Matrix AI Network was founded in 2017. In 2023, we enter Matrix 3.0 blending neuroscience with our previous work to realize the vision of the Matrix films.
