Mr. Ethan Tian is the vice president of operations of MATRIX AI Network. A graduate of Peking University, Ethan once worked as a senior R&D engineer at Microsoft and has extensive experience in the development of large-scale software systems, computing platforms and multiple blockchain projects.

Hello all Matrixians! Welcome to our Telegram AMA today. Matrix Intelligent has a great AMA waiting for us with information about contracts. Today we’ll be hosting our product director, Ethan Tian. Ethan, welcome!

Sercan: Great! Our product director, Ethan, will be answering questions about Intelligent Contracts that we have previously collected from you, our valued Matrixians.

Question 1: Will the establishment of this intelligent contract mean that the project won’t actually require a programmer or designer?

Ethan: Just like all artificial intelligence (AI) models, creating a system that operates without the need for programming is a long-term goal we are pursuing. This vision represents the future direction of technological development, aiming to make AI technology more widespread and accessible, regardless of the technical background of the user. However, to achieve such a goal, we have a long road ahead of us. Current technological developments and practical applications indicate that while we have made some progress, overcoming the numerous technical and practical challenges to achieve complete no-code operation still lies ahead.

For now, the Intelligent Contract we have introduced is designed to minimize the dependence on users’ programming skills. This means that even users without a programming background can get started, which is already a significant advancement in the current technological landscape. We are striving to lower the technological barrier as much as possible by providing an intuitive user interface and simplified operation process, so that more people can use our AI model to solve real-world problems.

Nevertheless, for those users with some programming background, they can gain a deeper understanding and make use of the advanced features of the Intelligent Contract. Programming knowledge can help users to better customize and optimize the contract’s functionalities, enabling more complex logic processing and data analysis. This not only increases the model’s flexibility and application scope but also provides users with more possibilities to explore and innovate.

Question 2: Dear Ethan, what advantages does using intelligent contracts on the Matrix AI Network offer compared to traditional contract methods? Can intelligent contracts on the Matrix AI Network be customized or tailored to specific needs or industries?

Ethan: Intelligent Contracts on the Matrix AI Network are designed to reduce users’ reliance on programming skills, signifying an intention to make smart contract technology accessible to a broader audience. In many cases, simple contract operations do not require any programming knowledge, significantly expanding the applicability of smart contract technology and enabling individuals without a technical background to utilize this technology for everyday operations and management. With graphical interfaces or natural language processing-based interactions, users can set up and execute contracts without complex coding.

Question 3: Does your platform allow developers to work with other blockchain languages besides Solidity?

Ethan: At the moment, we only support Solidity. However, we may consider expanding to other languages in the future, depending on the development of the industry.

Question 4: How does the Intelligent Contract align with Matrix AI Network’s broader goals and vision, and how does it contribute to the overall ecosystem of the network?

Ethan: In the development and optimization process of our artificial intelligence (AI) models, having massive amounts of data alone is insufficient to ensure the models’ efficiency and accuracy. The quality of the data and the effectiveness of the feedback mechanism are crucial for iterative improvements to the model. Hence, we place great importance on the actual experiences and feedback of community members while using our products. We encourage community members not only to use our products but also to actively provide feedback on issues encountered, suggestions made, and successful cases shared. This valuable feedback will be directly utilized to guide more accurate and efficient model training, enabling our AI models to better serve the needs of our community.

To motivate more community members to participate in this process, we plan to launch a series of incentive measures and reward schemes. Question 6: How does MATRIX AI Network ensure the security and privacy of user data within Intelligent Contract, especially considering the involvement of sensitive legal information in the contract generation process?

Ethan: The MATRIX AI Network places a high priority on the security and privacy of user data within Intelligent Contracts, especially given the potential sensitivity of legal information involved in the contract generation process. Currently, the contract information generated using our platform is only saved locally on the user’s device, specifically in the local cookies, and is not stored in any centralized or decentralized storage mediums. As our product continues to evolve and improve, we plan to implement more comprehensive local management practices for the information generated by our customers. Information that needs to be uploaded to the cloud will be handled using MATRIX’s InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) storage solutions.

This approach ensures that sensitive data remains under the user’s control, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access or data breaches. By leveraging the decentralized nature of IPFS, MATRIX AI Network aims to enhance the privacy and security of data, providing a robust framework for managing sensitive contract information. This method aligns with our commitment to protecting user data while also facilitating the efficient and secure generation and management of legal contracts through Intelligent Contracts.

Question 7: What kind of testing opportunities do you offer users during the smart contract development process? For example, does your platform have a testnet?

Ethan: Currently, we do not integrate support for a testnet service. In principle, the smart contracts produced by Intelligent Contract can run on the testnets of all EVM-compatible blockchains.

Sercan: It’s good to know that the Intelligent contracts can still be tested on various EVM-compatible blockchains’ testnets. Let’s move on to question 8

Question 8: Dear Ethan, who gains the most — individuals, companies, or governments — from intelligent contracts?

Ethan: Without a doubt, in this era driven by artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the most direct beneficiaries are ordinary individuals. The proliferation and application of AI technology have brought unprecedented opportunities to individuals, enabling everyday people to acquire professional skills that previously required extensive learning and practice. This transformation represents a breakthrough revolution for personal self-development and skill enhancement. It not only expands the boundaries of individual capabilities but also paves new paths for personal career development and life improvement.

Taking our product as an example, by combining AI technology with smart contracts, we have enabled individuals without a programming background to design and implement smart contracts. This means that participation in the world of blockchain and digital contracts is no longer limited to those with professional programming skills. Now, anyone can use our platform to create and manage smart contracts, enabling automated transactions and services without needing a deep technical background. This significantly lowers the barrier to entry, allowing more people to utilize this revolutionary technology to realize their creative ideas and objectives.

Question 9: What are the best times for firms to deploy intelligent contracts, and what aspects should they take into account?

Ethan: The question of when firms should deploy intelligent contracts, particularly in the context of exchanging critical data with external entities, elicits various perspectives and answers. From my standpoint, it is clear: whenever a company needs to exchange critical data with external entities, utilizing blockchain-based smart contract technology (blockchain + intelligent contracts) is strongly recommended as one of the potential technical solutions. This combination of technologies can significantly reduce the trust cost required for enterprises to communicate externally. Moreover, due to their transparent and immutable characteristics, they can effectively enhance trust between enterprises, thus facilitating the spread of corporate credit within the entire ecosystem.

Blockchain technology provides a secure, transparent, and immutable platform for data exchange between enterprises through its distributed ledger characteristics. This means any transaction or data exchange conducted on the blockchain can be verified by all participants in the network but cannot be controlled or altered by any single entity. This mechanism greatly reduces the cost of trust between the transaction parties, as the validity and authenticity of the transactions can be guaranteed by the technology itself.

Furthermore, the introduction of intelligent contracts (Intelligent Contracts) offers the possibility of automatically executing contract terms, further enhancing the applicability of blockchain for data exchange between businesses. Intelligent contracts can automatically execute the stipulations within the contract when predetermined conditions are met, without the need for third-party intervention or verification. Ethan: Our product is designed to deliver the most accurate and reliable results. As our product strength continues to grow and market demand gradually expands, we recognize the importance of introducing multilingual versions. Language serves as a bridge connecting our product with global users. To make our product accessible to non-native English speakers and achieve true global coverage, launching multilingual versions has become an important part of our plan. We plan to start the development of multilingual versions once the core functionalities of our product are stable and its accuracy reaches an industry-leading level.
